Hi great house.
My spouse is in a three years course and needs to extend her study permit by two years. She is currently in Canada with our son.

How much does she need as proof of find (PoF) for successful study permit extension?.

Can she use my elder brother, who is a of Canadian citizen's account statement as her POF for the study permit extension?

I am urgently waiting for your candid advice as usual.

Thank you in advance.

She needs to show tuition paid for one year and proof of funds for two people (around $26k). Your brother’s funds may not be considered because she is not a dependant.

Is the proof of tuition paid for one year in arears because she pays per semester? If she shows an available sum of 45,000 CAD, deposited by her husband in her account or her spouse's statement of account in excess of such amount, can't that be enough and accepted for a successful study permit extension?
Thank you for your usual useful replies.

If her spouse’s then that is enough.
