Hello everyone,
I had a question that do we have to declare traffic violations in background forms?
I applied for visitor record and submitted spousal sponsorship as well but did no disclose 2 speeding tickets in the forms and selected no as option for have you ever been convicted in Canada.
I am just worried if I should have declared that or not.
I already got visitor record in summer 2024 where i did not disclose these speeding ticket.
Just wondering if it is considered a problem or not?

Unless it involved a criminal charge no need to declare.

Unless it involved a criminal charge no need to declare.
It was just 2 speeding tickets under 50km per hour on 100km road and I forgot my license at home in one of those stops so it was also failure to produce license.
But i fought them and got the license one forgiven and speeding tickets reduced to 0 demerits failure to obey traffic sign so I guess it's fine
Thanks for your time
