IMM5532 - Part B, Question 2 (Page 3) asks the Principal Applicant:

Do you have any relatives (including aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) living in Canada?

do i have to declare them? I have family in Canada that I don’t speak to or have met, and i’m unsure if they have good or poor record? any thoughts

What happens if you don't? I applied with a lawyer in February this year, I just realized I have a distant cousin I never talked to him but he lives in Mississauga. I live in Vancouver BC but never talked to them or even knew they existed until I talked to my mom on Facebook and she said someone lives in Canada. Could this result in delays or denial of my application?

IRCC doesn’t care about distant cousins.
