Yes, they can apply for PR!
Thanks for quick confirmation! Just gaining some clarity.
The process will be same right getting education attested and IELTS.
Then you create the Express entry profile while being in India and wait for ITA.
Then submit the application and once it is approved, You travel to Canada with CoPR right?

Yes. As long as the person is already approved and got the RN license issued from Ontario, I see no problem for the person to apply for PR and get approved. Make sure to evaluation done accordingly. For Nursing, it might be different than WES.

Thanks a lot!!!! I will look deep into education evaluation process deeply to ensure it get it right. I appreciate your confirmation. I had an idea it will be able to meet the CRS score but wasn't sure if someone can apply for PR as outland application without being in Canada or Canadian experience. That was my only doubt.

Anyone has the right to apply for PR. The trick is to make sure you're applying for the correct stream. Since, Canada has become way more stricter with bringing in outlanders, I'd advise, tell the person to look for PNP programs. RN is a very desirable occupation Canada wide.

You could Google and see the eligibility requirements!
I did but it seems like PNP is the program for applicants residing in the province. NOT for outlanders that's why i requested to confirm if you know something that i missed while surfing.

Hi All,

My brother submitted his application when he just started working here in Canada making him not able to get additional points for Canadian Experience.

Now that he is turning 6 months at his work this February, is there a way for him to update his application for Canadian Experience?
Like maybe update his profile or something or send a mail to IRCC (just thinking out loud). Let me know.

Thanks

Hello everyone,

I have an important query. I have one year of Canadian experience as a cook after my masters in culinary. Now through one of my friend I got an opportunity to get interviewed and finally hired with job offer supported by dual intent lmia from another restaurant where I haven’t started working yet. I also got closed work permit with PGWP. Now I am waiting for the joining date which is probably in March. Now assuming now if I claim 50 points and get an invitation via cec express entry, my question is will I be able to apply for cec express entry pr application before even I start that job which is in March or April?
Please any response will be highly appreciated

They'll start to remove the 50 points for positive LMIA starting Spring 2025. It could be March or it could be April.
