I heard that if your employer requires PR for a specific position, you can submit on IRCC web form request to review your application faster, but it is still not guaranteed. That's why I asked to see if someone knows if this is true.

IRCC received our application by mail Aug. 2022, uploaded to website Oct. 22.
There is one item still outstanding, which is a background check on one individual that has been holding up our application for months.
I've written to several ministers, ordered GCMS notes from the CBSA, enlisted the help of my MP, still no progress on this.
Today I spoke with an agent, who mentioned our application is past the normal processing timeline, no kidding Sherlock.
Our file has seen at least three different offices, and supposedly currently resides in the Windsor office.
Let's just say I am not impressed here, sure would like to see some of these geniuses work in the private sector under real deadlines.
