Have you linked your application on gckey https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html or PR tracker https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login ? if yes, the status of each progress should show there, you might want to check there first.

Did your spouse already have biometrics done and medical done in the past year? What country?
