IMM 1283 do i have to fill it or no?

So i am Canadian citizen and my husband is from India. I am employed. He is in Canada rn on visitor visa do i have to fill out the financial evaluation form IMM 1283? We dont have children or dependant person? Can anyone let me know please i just wanna know if he is on visitor visa or do we have to fill the form at all?

If you mean for purposes of spousal sponsorship, the answer is no, but read the instructions carefully.

(For most spousal, it arises - if I remember correctly - only for those who have dependent children who themselves have dependent children).

Its just a spousal sponsorship but when i look it up on internet it says you may likely have to fill out as your spouse is on visitor visa and you might have to show that you can financially support him

It is for those who are (Both Sponsor and PA) biological parents of the children they have. to fill the form.

"Might" is not must. Go by the checklist included in the spousal sponsorship application package you have.
