Request for Clarification on PGP 2024 Application Rejection

I recently submitted an application under the 2024 Parents and Grandparents (PGP) Program to sponsor my parents, but I received an email stating that my application does not meet the requirements for processing because I was not invited to apply even though I got an email to apply for the program.

I would like to request clarification on the reason for my application's rejection. Specifically, I would appreciate confirmation on whether:

1. My application was rejected due to the absence of an Invitation to Apply (ITA); or
2. There was any other issue that led to the rejection.

What steps should I take now?

So when did you submit a profile to enter the pool? When did you receive ITA?

I originally submitted my profile to enter in 2020 and I got an email to invite on May 27, 2024. Then the application was submitted on the PR portal before the deadline.

This is what it says:
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is pleased to invite you to apply to sponsor your parents and grandparents as part of the 2024 intake of the Parents and Grandparents Program.

Raise a webform asking for reconsideration. Hire a lawyer too.

Please do review the docs you uploaded / submitted.
Incase you have missed to upload the page of ITA which has a reference number / bar code, it may be possible that the system does not recognize as valid ITA and officer has returned the application.
This was listed as mandatory attachment.
