I'd guess if your family income is below $150K, your ability to pay a home care worker is questionable. Can anyone guess, approximate, what income/salary employer should have to qualify for Caregiver Program 2025
Thanks a lot for the 150K insight. I think it makes senseI'd guess if your family income is below $150K, your ability to pay a home care worker is questionable.
Thanks, you know these immigration guys would never say what the bar is regarding employer salary/income. Its a secret bar, but will lead to a lot of refusals. So the higher, the safer it is.Really depends on your other costs. If you’re in one of the expensive areas you likely would need to make over 150k to be able to pay a caregiver unless you own your home.
There is no set amount. It is purely depends on your existing costs and whether you’d be able to pay for a caregiver on top of that. Thanks, you know these immigration guys would never say what the bar is regarding employer salary/income. You likely need more proof like regular bank deposits since you caregiver experience would be vey easy to falsify based on the proof you have suggested.Does anyone know if they accept below as proof of recent exp from countries where cash is a norm for paying caregivers?
1. Reference letters from parents/employers
2. Invoices sent to parents
3. Receipt sent to Parents when they pay cash
Thx
They will file tax against the cash received. Since it’s a sole prop. Hence the registration number is the same as their individual tax also. The issue is- the tax cycle which closes in fiscal year- June. So that can only be submitted later via Web formYou likely need more proof like regular bank deposits since you caregiver experience would be vey easy to falsify based on the proof you have suggested.
You may still run into issues even with the tax filings because IRCC will be looking for fraud and sadly people go to great lengths to falsify the appearance of payments. Can your employer show multiple tax years of payment to caregivers? Do you have a long record of being a caregiver for other people other than this family? Are they related to you? Are you living in your home country? Your employer is willing to give you their tax information? They will file tax against the cash received. Since it’s a sole prop.
