i just came across this too! this isnt good news for applications it seems like. But for future applicants it might be better since they will take less applications so faster processing?

future applicants will cry more due to less quota and less staff like if it is taking 25 months for 2022 and 2023 applicants so later on it will be 35 to 48 months as quota is dropped 20k from 40k

Same. Even my CIC portal is not updated. I see the updates on ATIP notes only.

same here cic portal and pr portal both seem dead. There has been no update since pre-arrival in Nov 2023

this cut from 40k to 20k, PR for protected persons, who claimed asylum inside Canada and got accepted.

previous immigration level plan was 500k for 2025 the new one 395k.

it is for PR after getting accepted and 20k quota including family members so that is for 20k people not for 20k families
