Hi @Miss bee, I got my eCOPR on the 15th of November last year. But I did not receive my PR card yet. Are we supposed to get a notification when IRCC puts our PR cards in the mail? Is there a way of knowing the status of the card?

If you never received your PR card after becoming a permanent resident, here’s what you should do:

1. Check Processing Times
• The typical processing time for a PR card is about 41 days (as of January 2025).

• If this time has passed since you received your eCOPR, proceed to the next steps.

2. Verify Your Address
• Log in to the PR Confirmation Portal or your IRCC account to confirm that you provided the correct mailing address.
• If your address was incorrect or needs updating, notify IRCC immediately through the web form.

3. Report a Non-Received PR Card

If you haven’t received your PR card after the processing time, follow these steps:
• Fill out the Solemn Declaration Concerning a Lost, Stolen, Destroyed or Never-Received PR Card (IMM 5451).
• Explain that you never received the card and provide details such as:
• Your UCI and eCOPR information.
• The date you became a PR.
• Any tracking information provided (if applicable).
• Submit the IMM 5451 form through the IRCC Web Form.

4. Reapply for a PR Card (If Necessary)

If IRCC cannot trace your original PR card, you may need to reapply:

• Complete the Application for a Permanent Resident Card (IMM 5444).
• Include the required supporting documents:
• A copy of your eCOPR or landing document.
• A copy of your valid passport or travel document.
• Two photos meeting IRCC’s specifications.
• Pay the $50 application fee and mail the application.

5. Travel Considerations
If you plan to travel outside Canada and still don’t have your PR card:
• Apply for a Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD) at a Canadian visa office abroad to return to Canada.

@Miss bee Hey, I really need your help. I am in panic mode here.

So I applied for Non Express PNP - Inland on 12th December and included my spouse as Non-accompanying member. I did not know that I have to upload her photo, PCC and medicals even if she is not accompanying me at the moment (She is in India and I am in Canada). It is been 1.5 months of my application is in que and I did not receive an AOR yet. How would I fix my mistake here? I want to upload the docs to correct my mistakes. Can I submit it through webworm all together with combining all the docs in 1 pdf? How long will they take to attach it to my application? I am worried if they return my application without even giving me AOR.

When applying for PR under the Non-Express Entry stream, even if your spouse is listed as a non-accompanying dependent, their documents, such as a photo, police clearance certificate (PCC), and medical exam results, are still required. Missing these documents could delay your application or lead to it being returned as incomplete.

Here’s how you can address the situation:
1. Prepare the Missing Documents
• Photo: Ensure it meets IRCC’s specifications.
• PCC: Your spouse can obtain it from the relevant authorities in India.
• Medical Exam: Your spouse can complete an upfront medical exam with a panel physician in India. The clinic will provide an IME number that you can submit.

2. Submit the Documents via Webform
• Combine all the missing documents into a single PDF (max size: 4 MB). Include a detailed explanation of why these documents were not included in the initial submission.
• Reference your application details (full name, date of birth, UCI, and application number if available).
• Use the IRCC Webform to submit the documents. Select the appropriate category (e.g., “Permanent Residence Application”).

3. What Happens After Submission?
• IRCC will attach the documents to your application. Processing times for webform submissions can vary but typically take 2-4 weeks for acknowledgment or action.
• Monitor your email and account for updates. IRCC may confirm receipt or request additional clarification.

4. Risk of Return Without AOR
• If the application is deemed incomplete before issuing an AOR, IRCC may return it. Submitting the missing documents as soon as possible reduces this risk.

5.
• Be proactive: If you don’t receive a response after 30 days, consider following up via another webform submission.
• Keep copies of all documents and correspondence for your records.

Please post your question?
Hello Miss Bee, I'm writing to you because I realized I made an error on form IMM 5669. I unfortunately forgot to include a 3-month job my wife held in her employment history.

We haven't yet received our AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) for the application.

Given this omission, I'm wondering what the best course of action is. Should I refill the IMM 5669 with the corrected information and resubmit it via webform?

Any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Since you have not yet received your Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR), you should take proactive steps to address the omission in your IMM 5669. Here’s what you can do:

1. Refill and Correct the IMM 5669
Complete a new version of the IMM 5669 form, ensuring that all the information is accurate and includes the omitted 3-month job in your wife’s employment history.

2. Prepare an Explanation Letter
Write a detailed explanation letter addressed to IRCC, acknowledging the mistake, explaining the nature of the omission, and confirming that it was unintentional. Assure them that you are submitting the corrected form promptly to ensure accuracy in your application.

3. Submit the Corrected Form via Webform
Use the IRCC webform to submit the updated IMM 5669 form and the explanation letter. When using the webform:
• Select the option related to correcting a mistake or adding documents to your application.
• Clearly explain your situation in the webform description and attach the corrected form and letter as PDF files.

4. Monitor Your Application
While waiting for the AOR, keep a record of your submission confirmation from the webform. If IRCC requires additional clarification or an updated form after issuing the AOR, you can provide it again at that time.
