Police verification was completed but there is no update in the status, does anyone know if we can call the consulate and get the latest status??

I am facing the same issue. My police verification was completed on 15 Jan by local police station and the status is still "PV Initiated". When was your police verification completed ?

Got my passport today

BLS sucks
PCC done 2 year back

1. Filled and submitted form : 27th Nov, send 30th Nov
2. Bls messed up things and wanted a doc that was not need over email. Did that and application just rested in BLS : 3rd Dec.
3. Application arrived in CGI Van 6th Dec.
4. 21 Dec 2024, Granting started.
5, 31st Dec 2024, Granted on preverification basis
6. 31st Dec 2024, PV Initiated
7. 2nd Jan 2025, Printing initiated.
8. 7th Jan 2025, escalated to CPPF
9 8th Jan. 2025, Printed
10. 10th Jan 2025, QC Passed, dispatched.
11. 15th Jan 2025, Passport arrived at CGI
12. 16th Jan 2025, Intransit from CGI to BLS
13. 20th Jan 2025, Dispatched to me.
14. 21th Jan 2025 Arrived in mail

Hi All,

I have Print initiated on January 18th. How long it takes from print initiated to printed and when I can get my passport? I have my flight Feb 2nd. Do you all think if I can get it before then?

Thank you for the information, did you get any receipt or proof that the clearance certificate was submitted ??

Hi All, I contacted the local police station and they mentioned they have done the verification, post that is it sent to SP office?? Just wanted to know how long will it take to get the status updated, it is still showing PV initiated.

Hi All,

I submitted for passport renewal on Nov 19 2024 at Calgary BLS Walkin, Dec 23rd Police verification was cleared and the status on passport seva under review at embassy/consulate. if anyone guide it will be really helpful I am traveling at the end of feb so need some clarification,
