Will completing a one-year accelerated Master's degree program at a public university, such as the University of Waterloo or the University of British Columbia, qualify me for a three-year Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)?

Not yet, applying to multiple universities for my spouse as she is on SOWP and she wanted to switch her WP to study to upgrade her skills. She is already having Masters degree in tech from home country, 12 year total Work experience (10 in India + 2 in canada) but her role is more of project management, Business startegies , so she want to align her education with role and trying to get admission in some good universities in GTA so that she can leave her current FT role and do studies once again.

So to get study permit, as well of funds ($21k plus tuition in cash) she also needs to show education and career progression (higher pay and promotion when she returns home). So if taking another Masters then she really needs to show career progression.

Yes, we understand that part, thanks for highlighting.
