Hi everyone,

One of my friend came to Canada on PR 6 months ago, His father recently passed away and now he wants to apply for his mother's Super VISA.

I want to know if he can do this because he has not filed any return here as of now. He is not here from last three years.

Is it possible for him to show his income from back home? Or is there anyway he can show funds and apply for SUPER visa for his mother?

Please advise guys, thank you for your help

He wouldn’t qualify. Would also add that a supervisa is not a permanent move so he needs to be making longterm plans for his mother in her home country.

You are posting under Family Sponsorship and supervisa is a visitor visa so any further questions should be posted there. If he meets LICO with his NOA for 2024 for the number of people in his family, he could apply. Mother needs to pass medical and have health insurance. She still needs to show ties to return.
