Hi I became a PR on January 8, 2020. I left Canada on August 3 2021. I came back in Canada on April 9 2024 and left Canada on September 18, 2024. Since January 8, 2020 I spent more than 730 days in Canada. I am about to renew my pr card and on the residency obligations it states that if you have been a pr for more than 5 years you must have been physically present in Canada for a minimum of 730 days within the past five year. It seems that I dont meet this requirement. Does it mean that I lost my PR status ?

So you said that you are about to renewal your PR card.
Does that mean you are in Canada now (traveled back with your valid PR card)?

If so, you need to meet your RO (rolling 5 years) to apply for the PR card renewal.
So you need to stay inside Canada and stay for more than 730 days before you can apply for the PR card renewal.
(PR card renewal can only be done inside Canada)

rolling 5 years, so it counts backward 5 years from the day you sign/submit your PR card renewal application.
So if you accumulated most of your days right after you landed as PR, you will be "losing" days at the same time as you accumulate days while staying in Canada after the 5 years.
If you are outside, you would be losing days and would soon not meeting RO.

I know you WANT to count from the date you became PR but it doesn't work that way.
Only who has landed less than 5 years ago will count days from the date he/she became PR.

It looks like you are not in Canada. You cannot apply for a PR card while out of the country.
