However, I’m very sure that during this time, you can work normally since you are on implied status. But I’m not sure if you can directly apply for the PGWP. Right now, I’m waiting for my college’s completion letter while also waiting for my new study permit. I’ve already prepared all the other materials for the PGWP application.

Students are not allowed to work after getting completion letter. Confirm for IRCC.

You are right! I apologize for the lack of clarity in my earlier explanation. What I meant was that during the period before we receive our completion letter, we still can work. I have followed up with my college regarding the completion letter, but they informed me that they are still in the process of reviewing the graduation requirements.

Hello, everyone!
God is good—I received my approval today!
I applied for a SP extension and SOWP on June 19, 2024.
I received the email for correspondence letter on January 10, 2025.
On January 13, 2025, Today I just logged into my GCKey account and saw that our application was approved.No email notification was sent; I found the update by logging in.
To everyone still waiting, I know how you feel. Trust in God—yours is coming soon!

I submitted my study permit extension on June 24th 2024, and I still do not receive my document yet. It says they are processing my background check. Can you guys give me some advice? I have been waiting for too long.
