LMIA WORK PERMIT FROM INSIDE CANADA

I am currently on visitor status in Canada and awaiting my visitor record. I hold a valid LMIA that is valid until June 2025. Previously, I was on a closed work permit with the same employer.

Can I apply for a work permit from within Canada as if I were an outside-Canada applicant? Additionally, after 2–3 months, once I receive my visitor record, can I leave the country and obtain the work permit at the Port of Entry (POE) following approval?

Already answered under your other user id. No. Visa stamping needs to happen outside of Canada.
