Hm but in your timeline it says that you passed eligibility already? Also it says on GC keys that they have to do the background check "in some cases", so I wanted to check if that's everyone or not

Just to clarify, in my situation….. On my tracker it says eligibility is complete but on the gckey it says “we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements”. I believe that the only thing I am waiting for is the background check to be completed.

I suspect the eligibility thing is because you are in Quebec and Quebec has to clear your eligibility first? Not sure.

All of us are waiting for background check though.

In other news, my husband's work permit finally came in the mail!

Question: so far we only receive a letter from IRCC saying:"It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence ad a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada Class..." I would take this as AIP letter. sponsor has not received SA letter. Is anyone on the same boat? both PA and sponsor's eligibility is completed in tracker.

I’ve seen the SA come in and around AIP for most people. It goes to the sponsors email. Check your junk mail or give them a call since your tracker says it was done in July.
