Hi all. I applied in April 2023 and I received AOR in October 2023. I have 2 dependants and my spouse. Since AOR, I haven’t received any other communication. No Biometrics request, nothing. Is this scenario normal and if not, what can I do because I see that most people receive biometrics alongside AOR. What to do?

I applied may 2023. No needed biometric. Everything is very fine. Are you in Quebec?

I have a question regarding my PR process for protected persons for me and my family in Canada.
I applied on July 2023
AOR Nov 2023
Pre arrival & eligibility (by email not the tracker) for the principal applicant Dec 2024.
My questions:
1- I have done Medical before and it was showing that is valid and now it is blank. Is it normal?

2- I was not asked to provide Biometric till now. I think it is weird

there is no valid Biometric available

No I haven’t received anything after AOR. That’s why I’m so worried.
Maybe you should contact them. Also ask for GCMS notes. You can see what’s going on. I applied in May 30th 2023 from Ontario. I received eligibility and pre arrival letters. Even my partner who is not refugee and in Canada with me received pre arrival letter. We both passed eligibility, medical, criminality. Better try to ask them.

In my opinion, IRCC takes too long to process our applications and for most part of the entire processing time, the files are put on hold for them to only resume whenever & however they’d like! Last year my application was not moving at all for like 6-7months.. it was only triggered when I applied for my refugee travel document and my work permit extension. The same day I applied for my WP extension was the same day I noticed movement in my application as they started my background check right away. So my adv to all the members is keep contacting them be it simple status update calls with an IRCC agent or web forms because it really does affect at least from what I have noticed in my case. Wish you guys all the best I hope we all get our answers soon :)
