Hello..
I am posting this behalf of someone

The are in the process of renewing Pr and it shows decision made ( they dont know what the decision is )

they have kid who was born outside Canada and they are doing inland sponsorship of the childe.
The child application shows ( We are pleased to inform that you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.)

The question is:

dose this mean that the Pr was approved?
Also they need to travel with the child can they apply for a visa and what type?

No. It just means the parent is eligible to sponsor.

So parents (they) are in Canada, and need to travel with child. Are they in the same country? Is child in Canada with TRV?

This means the sponsor has been approved. It does not mean the applicant (child) has been approved.

There's actually no inland process for minor dependent sponsorship. They are all outland application.

Yes the family all are in Canada. The child entered Canada with a visa then the parents apply to renew the pr cards and to sponsor thier child.

The currently Pr cras has expired and they are waiting for the new crads BUT how to travel with child and re enter Canada?

You say the family are all in Canada but want to re-enter Canada. If in Canada, don’t need visa. Plus parents are PR so no visa required.

Important question here: are the parents (or at least one of them) in compliance with the residency obligation or not?

If they are, they do not need the valid PR card. They can use their COPR or expired PR card. ANything that shows one of them is a PR.

If they are not compliant: more complicated issue.

I'm going from basic fact that they are all already in Canada.
