Yes, we can wait for it to be mailed. Hopefully we receive it soon.
We don't need to raise a solemn declaration right? Because by jan 10 we both will be more than 6 weeks up to update that it has been mailed. N we will receive card only jan end I am guessing after they start mailing post jan 10. Kindly guide as to ur thought n what u planning to do

It can take months to get a PR card sometimes. You should only report it missing if you are sure it has been lost. Given postal strike there are expected delays and as previously noted sometimes it does take months to process so not actually lost.

Thank you so much for the confirmation.

I cant seem to understand the processing pipeline of IRCC when it comes to PR cards. Surely if you applied earlier, it should be processed in that sequence. There are many people in the thread who received eCOPR in December and have received the PR card in the same month or in January, same with some people landing in December. Whereas there are many people who are waiting from September or November or earlier(even though there is nothing wrong with address or photo) and application seems to be stuck in processing). If anyone can help me make sense of this.

That is ircc! Works on their own temperament. Actually Canada Post strike has disrupted their protocol n thrown them also into confusion I think. Oct n nov landings n ecoprs got in person pick up options. Some r still getting. N Dec ones are getting pr card delivered. So those who cannot pick up n landed in Oct r still waiting whole Dec landings have already got!

Hi. Please guide:

Oct 28 landed. Applied pr carc at airport.

Nov 16 Received status update that it is mailed. Canada Post strike hits.

Dec 12 during strike i raised a webworm just to ask if the card is stuck in Canada post or with ircc.

Dec 16 strike is over.

Dec 19 I got letter my card is available for in person pick up at local ircc. Mail also said if I don't wish to pick up mail delivery will resume early 2025. I am unable to go n hence decided to wait.

Dec 31 I get a reply to my Dec 12 webworm. Says since 6 weeks are past I am invited to raise a solemn declaration. The reply does not factor in the Dec 19 ircc letter that my card is at local office or Canada Post strike delay or anything. It further generally says if 180 days r up then reapply. N gives links n stuff. It does not answer my specific query of Dec 12 asking if my card is stuck with Canada Post Or ircc.

Please guide should I ignore it as a generic reply to my webworm which was sent before strike was over n before I got pick up letter? Can i safely wait till jan end for card to be delivered as per ircc in person pick up letter?

If I raise a solemn declaration now my present card may become invalid once they process solemn declaration. Can I just ignore this response to my webform enquiry?

Any guidance will be appreciated
