I have a question about my Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) for my PR application. I applied for the PCC from UAE, and they offer an option to use your Emirates ID (national identity card) to expedite the process.
In the UAE, it’s common for the father’s name to be included on identity documents. As a result, my PCC has my full name with my father’s last name at the end. I’m wondering if anyone else has faced a similar situation and how they handled it.
Would a Letter of Explanation be enough? If so, can it be uploaded to the same portal where other PR documents are submitted, or is there another place for submitting such explanations?
