Hi guys,
First of all, Merry Christmas!
I just got a quick question. Recently my work permit extension is rejected, as of Dec 19, 2024. The letter says my resident of status expired on Dec 19, 2024. Is the 90 days count from this date of expiration or the original work permit expiration? I feel it wouldnt make much sense if it follow the original work expiration, as if the process takes longer than 90 days, then the person is not able to restore at all. Please let me know on any advice or info of this!
And when restoring status, do I put my current status as worker (as this was my last status), and expiration of work permit? or maybe the expiration of temporary resident status? This is just a bit confusing as there is no "out of status" option.
Please help, THANK YOU!
