In Canada Approval Letter

Hi All,

I applied for pgwp (1st time) after completing my masters while still in Canada. Took close to 6 months and finally received this letter in my GCKey- In canada approval letter.
I am from India.

My question is do I need to apply for TRV? I read at IRCC that the visitor visa is automatically approved for the first pgwp.

We automatically issued a visitor visa to you when we approved your first work permit.

If you leave and return to Canada, you must travel with

• your valid study or work permit
• your valid visitor visa
  • If you don’t have a valid visa when you check-in for a flight, it may result in travel delays (or a missed flight).
• your valid passport

To the best of my knowledge, no TRV is issued with the PGWP. You need to apply for the TRV separately if you are outside of Canada and want to return. Wait for others to comment.
