Hello everyone, hoping someone can share some inputs on our current situation.

My husband created his EE profile this May (he is just 7 months at work at that time).
Come October, he reached one year at work. Due to our lack of research and carelessness i thought we should manually update the EE profile. I changed our answer to YES to the question where it says “atleast one yr on the employer on the current work permit”.

Now that we have received an ITA to apply for PR, i came across that question again and realized that it is for LMIA (my husband is on open work permit). We did not gain points on that as I answered NO to the next question if we have positive LMIA.

Since i already know that this is incorrect, can I still change it, post ITA? Our CRS score will not change upon doing so. But im afraid this will be considered misinterpretation since info from pre ITA to post ITA changed. Any feedback as to what we can do next will be most appreciated.

Thank you!

Yes, you should change it. If it doesn't affect your CRS (still above the cut-off), then you can accept the invitation. Just attach a LOE explaining it was chosen by mistake and you should be good! All the best!
