Spousal Sponsorship Application Pending Review

This was received in the sponsor's email today (we were expecting SA) can anyone shed some light on what this means? Anyone else who got this email/message? We received the AOR1 on 20th August (file received 21st June 2021) and have a permanent file number and UCI and the application is Outland

"This is to acknowledge receipt of your sponsorship application and to advise that your file is presently pending review by an officer. You will be contacted in the future if further information is required or as soon as the decision on your application is finalized."

We're worried this maybe a secondary review, as we haven't received the SA/medical request yet.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

The message you received is standard and means your application is still in the review process. It’s not necessarily a secondary review; the officer simply hasn’t yet assessed it for Sponsor Approval (SA) or medical request. Delays are common, especially for Outland applications. Your application is moving through the typical stages, so it should progress to the next step once reviewed.

Hi, i got my AOR on Oct 26 and This email received on dec 5 together with BIL. No SA or Medical as of the moment.
