Hello everyone, I’m new here and looking for some guidance. My current Express Entry CRS score is 431, and I’ve submitted EOIs for both the SINP and PEI under the Express Entry category in February 2024. I’m particularly focused on SINP because my occupation, NOC 41210 (post-secondary teaching and research assistants), is not on the excluded list. My SINP score is 68, and my PEI score is 80.

I've noticed that SINP draws seem to have slowed down recently. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Also, given my scores, do you think there’s a realistic chance my EOI could be selected in the near future?

Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Provinces are cutting back on immigration and quotas have been reached for the year. Honestly your SINP score is way too low. PEI is a province of 150,000 people so don’t expect a nomination as the province is targeting its nominations to healthcare, construction, trades etC.

Does that mean there will be no more draws this year

For some streams, yes. PNPs are now focused on people living and working in Canada, or those who are in demand fields such as healthcare/trades. For SINP has your NOC and score been selected. 68 is low.

Hi friends,
I have a question to share/ask about my recent EE submission.
I got rejected due to incomplete docs. The application fee will be refunded as per the letter.

I created another new EE profile and got the 600 PNP scores added to my new profile.
I got the ITA again for the new EE application! However, I am worried about a question, as I have already submitted my application. Will the following two answers be counted as misrepresenting my previous applications?

Have XXX be refused refugee status, PR visa..... to Canada or any other countries? I answered NO.
Have XXX be denied entry to Canada or any other countries? I answered NO

My question is: should I answer YES to these two questions?
I thought that a previous rejection with a refund did not mean the same as a refusal. I also provided the previous EE application Number under the Question "Have you applied to EE before? "If yes, provide the EE number. " I also included an explanation letter explaining the previous rejection due to EE incompleteness.

Any comments or thoughts will be appreciated! Thanks, everyone!

Hi Everyone,
I started working on 11th Dec 2023. Can I open my EE profile today (18th Dec 2024)? I've completed 1 year but while creating EE profile they just ask for month/year. So, I'm confused.
