Any idea what are the average time taken these days to move from P1 --> P2 --> eCoPR --> Card printed --> Card mailed, assuming we are quick to respond?

Knowing the mailing time is uncertain currently due to CP strike causing a backlog of mails, I want to get a sense of how long the wait prior to that will be.

Just submit the medical you did for your extension
Medical wasn’t requested for WP extension. And the last medical was done in 2019 so based on our application date the 5 years rule doesn’t really apply. So was just wondering if any other may applicants have got medical request.

Thanks buddy for the wishes (for my spouse who's the one waiting).

Canada Post - they said they'll be back to normal around January, hoping it doesn't go beyond that. Based on how they plan to close their backlog, I'm guessing it will impact newer PR cards being mailed until the currently stuck cards are mailed out and delivered.

Many May people have received and submitted their medical request a while back, check the tracker. Unless there is something really different about your application which makes it more complex than routine cases, your ETAs should fall more or less in line with the average.

Hey there,
Any updates for anyone who submitted their application mid to end of May? (For context: inland spousal sponsorship and i’m out of status)

- I (my rep) submitted my application May 21st.

- June 14th completed medical exam.

- June 18th received letter that I had to resubmit the IMM5669 form, (rep didn’t tell me till June 28th) which I resubmitted on July 2nd.

- August 13th medical exam passed.

- August 28th request for biometrics letter. Completed biometrics on August 30th .

- October 31st got an “invitation to pre arrival services.”

Any idea what next step would be and estimate of the timeline?
Thank you

You should have gotten AIP shortly after the pre arrival letter. With that, apparently, you can get a work permit if you are out of status but I haven’t figured out how to apply for it. If you figure it out, let me know.
