Can we get an extension of biometrics due to appointment issues?

Please submit all Documents together,
As you said all documents are not ready by deadline, No Issue
Please submit a Webform stating reason , why you are delaying ,(This is good as you will have answer thats you already informed IRCC)

Please try to submit all Document ASAP

Just to make sure -- his CIC document section is currently activated to upload the supporting documents by May 31 2022 (Required By column) and you're saying it will remain activated for uploading like on June 4th, correct? (it won't be deactivated right after the due date)

Ok yes valid point . I can't comment on this part , you might be right (As I never faced this situation)
But this will apply in same situation , where you are thinking to submit partial document after 31st May , how you will submit remain documents?

When we raise a webform, there is an option to upload documents where we do the remaining ones.

Upload whatever are available on May 31st on the cic portal and the rest on June 4th by raising a webform.

I see..
If i will be in your place , i will do all document submission together
If after 31st the Doc upload link is still enable (which is confusion) then via that else all via webform link on 4th June

Rest you need to decide , which you feel is best

I submitted my application on 14th Dec 2024 and need to go for biometrics on or before 14 Jan 2025. I cannot see slots opened for January and even I need extension. I filled web form by going to this site https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp then "Ask about a program or service" > Visiting Canada > Filled the form and submitted for both myself and my wife. What if I wont hear anything from them till Jan 14 ? And what if I have no updated on my BIL letter in the portal? Can I book something in February and go with expired BIL ?

What country are you applying from? In India, on the Biometrics Request Letter we get on the portal, we get a link to VFS and clicking on that and following the steps leads to VFS automatically assigning a date for biometrics submission. We don't have to select.
