Hi All, I applied for me and my minor sons citizenship on oct, I got the AOR, but it only mentions my UCI and my name, doesnt mention my sons name in it. I checked the tracker with my uci and application number, it shows my application is in progress. When i tried my sons UCI and application number (same as mine) it doesnt recognize it. Do they not update or mention minors name if its accompanied with me?

Every applicant will have there own application number. Did you use your own(same) email for sons application?

What is a ghost update in the citizenship application process?
When you log in to the portal, at the top right corner, there is a "last updated on:" field. When there is an update on that field but you don't see any updates in your language, prohibitions, test or background that's called as a ghost update. It is typically indicative of your application having been picked for review by a case officer and in general that means you should get an update in the next few days.

Right now, the progress seems to be happening for applications with AORs around Oct 25-30 based on the median trend in the citizenship sheet. You can reasonably expect your citizenship test in the next week or so since your AOR is November 7

Oh OK. I'll keep an eye on that. Right now it says "Updated: November 12, 2024"
