Misrep, reject, or subtract points for non-matching NOC?

My previous employer has given me a reference letter for experience but it is not in the required format. I've asked multiple times and they said they are not budging on the duties they put down, which are extremely vague.

I plan to attach an LOE with links to the company website and explaining what I do.

My CRS will be higher than the cutoff even without this experience, though. In this case, will it simply be subtracted and my application proceeds as normal, will my whole app be rejected if the VO is not convinced, or will I get charged with misrepresentation?

You can put it, Just write a letter explaining it. Worst case they make you change your noc. But you can have experience from multiple Noc's

yes, my primary NOC is fine. this is just for an extra 25 points of foreign exp but i'm above the cutoff by 14 points even without it so i'm wondering what to do, if i should remove it or decline & reapply since my employer isn't giving me a more detailed letter

even if you don't claim the points you need to report it if you get the ITA there going to ask you to explain all jobs in the last 10 years. You should consider having it with a letter of explanation. More work experience is better then none. Not sure of your situation but say they dont like something else about your app and feels its lacking those extra 25 points will be there for you in case they feel you lose points somewhere else. If they dont count it they dont count it. Its not material misrepresentation if you still have enough points even if they dont count it. If in doubt just provide a letter. I did that for alot of things on my app

They assess your eligibility based on you meeting the minimum CRS cut-off of the draw. If you match that, it is fine. You can also safeguard yourself by getting a confirmation on what you do from HR by sending them your actual day-to-day responsibilities. Tell HR/employer that you wish to attach to your EE application using a webform. You can print the email if the employer agrees and attach it using a webform.

Securing your EE profile is all about reducing chances of rejection. For example, think about any other spot where an officer can find an issue, if you are always going above-and-beyond, you can rest happily. See if that's an option; if not, you are still good!
