Hello all. My boyfriend and I have been living together ( joint lease) since October 2023. Just a week before we hit the continuous one year mark, we left for a vacation to our home country and got back on December 2. We still have the lease and continued to make the rental and hydro payments while away. So my question is what is the date we entered common law? Would it be safe to say October 31/ November 1st 2024 or we add on the missing days in December and then get our Statutory declaration. Please advise. My boyfriend has an active CEC profile ( made while single) and we need to update that. Thanks!

Since October 31st, 2023 or whatever date you signed your lease together!
