Refused close work permit w/lmia

We submitted an application and was acknowledged by IRCC last Nov.19. two weeks later, December 3 to be exact, I received an email from my consultant forwarding IRCCs refusal letter. And as stated:

You have not complied with our request for information, per subsection 16(1) of the
IRPA. To date, you have failed to comply with our request for submission of the following
documents: NBI clearance. The one on file belong to another person.
• This information is required for application assessment and was requested as per the

Could someone enlighten me what will happen with my application. My consultant tells me that there seems to be an error on IRCCs part as we have not been asked and we have not submitted any NBI clearance. He also told me that he already filed a webform for reconsideration. Does anyone know how long will it take and what are the chances of the appeal?

Also the second reason for reason for refusal is getting me confused. I am applying for a work permit but when I open the link it says document checklist for Student permit.

Somebody help me pleaseeeee.

High probability of IRCC making an error on your application. For now, just wait for the web form to be reviewed. I'm sure they'll re-open your file once they notice this error that was made on their end. Don't lose hope! Secondly, may be try to get the MP involved? I suppose that might work as well for a quicker resolution! And just to be safe, also apply for GCMS notes.
