Hi everyone, I’m planning to invite my brother for a visit. The primary purpose is to reunite with family and be a part of my wedding anniversary celebration. Here's the situation: my brother’s spouse is already in Canada on a temporary visa and is currently working. However, since she is on implied status while waiting for her work permit extension, she cannot invite him herself.
My brother has no intention of staying in Canada permanently due to his work commitments back home. His sole purpose for visiting is to spend a few weeks here with family.
I would like advice on how to demonstrate strong ties to his home country to establish that he intends to return after the visit. Should I mention his spouse in the invitation letter? While I plan to include her details in the application form, I’m unsure if mentioning her in the invitation letter would strengthen or complicate the application.
