Hi, I got my PR in Sep 2020 with expiration in Sept 2025 and since then till today I have only stayed for 82 days in Canada. But now i am planning to move on Aug 31, does it pose any issue at the port of entry? Also are their any poaitive experience where people landed wwhen 1 year was left on their initial PR?

Any suggestions is really appreciated!

Yes it poses a risk.

Yes people have managed to gain entry.

Yes, people have been reported as well.

It's all luck of the draw.

ALL PR's (with or without a valid PR Card) must be admitted, unless they are deemed to be otherwise inadmissible, right?

If you previously got a health card, even though you didn’t qualify for one since you don’t meet the residency criteria for any provincial health card, you need to reapply. Expires dates aren’t valid if you don’t meet the residency requirement.

Incomplete thought.....should have included "without being reported".
Don't understand your point.

Should I have added that, or should you have in your prior post?

Even if a PR is issued a 44(1) `being reported' they are still allowed to enter Canada.

i am in a similar situation. though my question is: what do i do to get my PR renewed given that i was able to reside in canada for only 5months, i am now outside of canada, and also my PR will expire october 2025?

You renew once you are inside Canada and have met residency obligations. So enter before Oct. 2025 and renew when you meet RO.

Returning to Canada as soon as possible would be the best idea. You are less likely to be reported the closer you are to meeting your RO

Yes, provided you have obtained a SIN. Getting one without a valid PR card is difficult, and so is getting a driver's licence and other documents in certain provinces.
