Is the 14 month timeline starts from AOR or IRB referral?

I applied inside Canada, Toronto city and my timeline:

May 11th 2023 case confirmation
June 17th 2023 1st interview/passport seize
July 7th 2023 Work permit
Sep 14th 2023 2nd interview/brown paper/IRB referral (Toronto)
15th Sep 2023 BOC submission to IRB
May 23 2024 ICAC disclosure package sent to IRB ☒ Regular Hearing: Half-Day (3 hours) with no Minster intervention (Disclosure of documents from the Integrated Claim Analysis Centre )

still waiting for hearing ...

Doesn’t actually matter since there is huge variability in wait time for hearings so 14 months is not actual a true wait time. Some get much faster processing while many others take a lot longer than 14 months. Given the growing number of asylum claims time to hearing is going to get longer.

It also looks like the timeline varies from one province to another. I've heard that Alberta and BC are much faster than Ontario.

Yes it is faster at those provinces, I regret a lot that I didn't submit my claim one of those provinces. People told me that it is a "FEDERAL PROCESS" what a bs.
