Hello..
Is anyone in the similar situation where rest all steps are completed except background and prohibitions are still progress
Same issue as I am here, everything other that BCK & PRO turned green since May 24,2024 but my Background verification and Prohibitions not yet completed. I applied since May 30, 2023.

I will appreciate anyone advise. Is anyone having the same issue as mine?

Well, this thread and all the others named something similar to "stuck in ackground check" exist because yeah, there are plenty of people in your situation, including some I know personally.
We don't know how many, but definitely tens of forum members and thousands of people across Canada.
Patience is key with these screenings, the agencies taking care of the Background checks sure take their sweet time.

@Md Sajeeb unfortunately, it's impossible to answer this question. Background checks timelines vary a lot from a person to another. Usually, it's the security checks conducted by CBSA and CSIS that take the most time, and that can take many months or even years, and there isn't really a way to know how long they will take for you. You may become a citizen in a few weeks, or in 2026, no idea really. Good luck.

could be vary from applicants to others.

you might get these done tomorrow or 2 -3 years from now. when it comes to BG check no one knows how long will be taking as it will be taking care of by third parties like ( CBSA).
