Hello fellows,
I applied to the skilled worker program with my wife. All my statuses have been moved to completed in the Status Tracker in July and the status of the final decision shows:
Final decision -july 8, 2024: Your application is inprogress. We will send you a message once the finaldecision has been made.

However, my wife's eligibility has remained in "Not Started" since July.
I've sent the webform to inquire about what was happening in November 1, but nothing has changed.
Folks, can anyone tell me what I should do? Should I send more webform enquiries or just wait until they make the final decision?
It's quite frustrating.
Thanks for all the assistance.

Same situation :

Skilled Worker Program (Federal, outside Canada)
AOR date of March 22, 2024. Here’s where things stand according to the tracker:
Principal Applicant (myself):

• Medical Exam: Completed (nov 2024)
• Background Verification: Completed ( 5nov)
• Biometric: Completed ( June 2024)
• Eligibility: Completed ( no date )

Spouse:
• Medical Exam: Completed
• Background Verification: Completed
• Biometric: Completed
• Eligibility: Not Started

It seems that everything on my side is done, but the tracker shows “Eligibility: Not Started” for my spouse.
Does anyone know why this might be the case or if it’s normal for the spouse’s eligibility to take longer? I’m wondering if this is common or if there’s something I should be concerned about. Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!

It seems your medical exam takes too long to complete, they will not start to review your application until these 4 verifications are done. But still, eligibility takes too long to start reviewing.

Some said that spouse's eligibility will never start even after you got your PR.

You mean that they will not start to review my application even if it is indicated completed for background and eligibility?

I mean your Medical Exam and Background Verification finished in Nov, and it's normal that they started to review in Nov and takes up to a month or two to process your decision. That looks like your progress is in the normal state.

My case is hugely different, since I finished all 4 checks in June, and the final decision section shows a date in July. But it's December already, which means they took 5 months to make the decision o_O
