I wanted to share my current situation and see if anyone has insights or similar experiences:
Skilled Worker Program (Federal, outside Canada)
AOR date of March 22, 2024. Here’s where things stand according to the tracker:
Principal Applicant (myself):

• Medical Exam: Completed (nov 2024)
• Background Verification: Completed ( 5nov)
• Biometric: Completed ( June 2024)
• Eligibility: Completed ( no date )

Spouse:
• Medical Exam: Completed
• Background Verification: Completed
• Biometric: Completed
• Eligibility: Not Started

It seems that everything on my side is done, but the tracker shows “Eligibility: Not Started” for my spouse.
Does anyone know why this might be the case or if it’s normal for the spouse’s eligibility to take longer? I’m wondering if this is common or if there’s something I should be concerned about. Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Congratulations! Don't worry. The eligibility of the spouse will always show as "Not Started" even after you land in Canada and get your PR cards. IRCC usually passes the eligibility accumulatively for both the principal applicant and the dependent with the principal applicant's eligibility. Next step is to wait for the golden email/PPR! All the best!
