Yeah that is what I also thought, nothing else can be done at this stage, I will try to push the MP again and see what can be done. I have no idea what else to do, no change on the application as of today!

I tried calling my MP again and his representative could not influence IRCC agent and the agent was adamant that I am in the normal processing time period, which is ridiculous. There is a chance that my application could be non-routine which doesn't makes sense as all the steps are complete and IRCC has changed my processing location as well on their own wish somewhere in between. I am getting bits and pieces of information from all the efforts I am making. Overall MP office has been useless. It has been 9 months already, waiting for oath since July

Did you apply for GCMS notes for the other family members who are part of your application. It appears that some of them are into Physical Presence review due to concerns around not meeting the residency. If not yet applied, it is a good idea to apply for them and see if it gives some useful info. IRCC is just plain crickets, no doubt!

Turned out you're right, GCMS note says E-Grant Review Ready PM03 with a due date of 12th June. The due date has been long passed, I don't even know what this means but I sincerely hope it wouldn't be a long night for us.

When the due date is reached, they usually push it out to the next month until they are in a mood to work on our applications. Hopefully we hear back soon! fingers crossed!!

I got an update that the prohibitions were completed. Still stuck on the background check. Anybody in similar situation where the BC takes forever? when was it likely resolved?

That's odd!

I have heard and seen, Prohibition will be completed with BG as they have correlation. this is kinda odd to see they have procced the prohibition before BG completion- or maybe your BG is completed however its not posted on tracker yet.

Yeah it doesn't really make sense.
The word "Prohibitions" itself makes it kinda clear, it encompasses all the things that can prohibit a person from becoming a citizen, including knowing the language, knowledge of Canada, physical presence, legal issues, being a PR... So it usually turns green when everything else does, and in practice does so along with the last other element that wasn't green yet.
It's either a mistake from an agent and it will go back in progress, or the BC is indeed completed and should reflect in the tracker soon.

Well, I called the agent a month or two ago and they said the BC is in progress and the waittime is undetermined. My spouse has everything competed and for me the last update I received was two weeks ago as prohibition completed and BC still says in progress! I dont know what I should be doung here. Please advise or if someone was in smiliar situation please let me know whe the BC was completed and they got oath invite. Its been 9 months + since I submitted the application.
