Can caring for own children count in work experience?

Hi dear .. I was talking about new HCCP that is going to open soon in 2025 ..I’ve still to apply in it..so I was asking if caring for own children can be proved anyway towards work experience..and what documents will be neeed in that case..

Where does it say that caring for your own children counts? Can you quote that exact section?
If you are referring to the statement below, this does not mean caring for your own children. This means being paid to take care of other people's children out of your own home.
- You must have cared for children in your own home or in your employer’s private home.
There is no program that has been announced to open in January. It was just a press release to say that there is a change in requirements. Caring for own children is not counted as experience. The link refers to you taking care of other people’s children in your home.
This is truly amazing "caring for own children as work experience"... And people wonder how Canada got to where it is today. Lol

Hi everyone, would appreciate if anyone can please explain some few things to me .
I would like to apply for Home childcare provider pilot program that is if it opens again next year 2025. But I do not know how payment of the application is made after applying. Please is there a link on payment and does the payment process take time?
Secondly, while filling for a police clearance check for Home childcare provider, there is a part that ask reason for traveling to Canada, am I to choose residency or employment? Finally; I quite don't understand how to arrange the requested documents for the application. Should every document be in one folder or should document be sent individually or as a folder, would appreciate a response. Thank you

What application and paypment? The program was closed and a new program has not even been announced so not sure what you mean by requested documents and how to pay. It will all be included in any announcement with eligibility requirements.

I understand it is closed, I'm just staying positive and hopeful that a new one opens next year .
But was advised by a friend to get my documents ready as the program fills up in less than 4 hours. SoI started digesting the required documents and filling out some of the forms. But at some point I got stuck as I do not know or understand some things . Hence my post
