Hello friends, March 28 applicant here! We received Portal 2 but we seem to have a little trouble uploading the photo. It was professionally taken by someone from Staples. Did you guys have any problems like that at all? Thank you!

What sort of problems? Mine complained that there were shadows but I think it was just mistaking my unruly hair so I clicked to accept it anyway (it was the photo from the application).

My understanding is that the declaration is needed for eCOPR but the address/photo was for the PR card so photo doesn't need to be perfect for eCOPR to be issued. I think!

It was giving a warning saying that the photo is too bright. I still uploaded it though. I hope they accept it. :(

I downloaded Ecopr today. But I am concerned about how long will it take to receive PR card through given Canada Post strike. I don't know whether IRCC is going to dispatch the PR cards??

There is a thread about this in the general forum. I think the gist is that unless there's a compelling emergency, cards will be held until the strike is over.

Some people say they got a message saying their card has been mailed but that could just be that it's sitting in an envelope in the mailroom - there's unlikely to be a status for "there is currently a strike".

9 days since submitting P1. Interesting how P2 arrival varies wildly from person to person. At what point should we inquire about it? 3 weeks? And how would one do that?
