A bit confused about form 1344 (Withdraw application if sponsor is found inelligible or not?)

Hello everyone! I'm a bit confused whether I should check one option or the other in this form. I've seen people saying that choosing option B (Proceed with the application for permanent residence. Processing fees will be retained) is only used for applications for refugees and such and it wouldn't apply to this kind of sponsorship, but I've also seen other people say that you should choose it because if you don't then you lose the option to appeal to a denial.

I'd love it if you offered some insight, thank you!

The first option would be the best fit for standard applications. You can review the instructions on how to fill the form here - Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344) - Canada.ca and see if your situation requires the second option
Thank you for your reply. Mine is a pretty standard spousal sponsorship application so I guess that the first one would be the one to choose.

Do you know if I would still be able to appeal it if they find that my sponsor doesn't meet the requirements after choosing the first option?

I don’t know if either of these options prevent you from being able to appeal but I would hope that you’re certain your sponsor is eligible so if there’s mistake and your application is returned you can fix it early rather than go through the entire process

you have the right to appeal as long as you’re applying outland

Thanks for your reply, I remember reading that a long time ago but I wasn't 100% sure. We are applying inland, so I guess that we don't have it but I'm confident that everything will be okay.
