I'd really appreciate if someone can help answer this question:
We applied as a family, and I got the fingerprinting request about 2 months ago which I submitted and then my spouse got a request for fingerprints last week. I submitted mine about 45 days ago, but there's no update and status tracker still says waiting on you!
Has anyone experienced this? Is this delay normal?
Also, I'd like to join the whatsapp group, is someone could share that with me plz. Thank you

From what I've seen, it depends on the office. For me, for example, the FP request never even showed up in the tracker, I only knew they received it when the background check was completed.
For others, it shows as waiting on your and clears only when the officer updates your BCG.
I've seen people call RCMP to make sure the request was submitted, or even IRCC just so they acknowledge that they in fact got it from RCMP.
It seems to be normal to wait for a while before it gets cleared on the tracker.

I believe it's a common thing to see test completed before background, physical etc marked completed, mostly those, are marked completed alongside DM or a few days apart, I maybe wrong though.

Hi, Dlaston. Is your background completed? I am in a similar situation with only test marked as completed.

Background check completed: October 3rd

LPP: November 27th (The update appeared in the tracker on the 29th)
Citizenship Oath invite received by Email: November 28th
Oath Date: December 9th, in-person in Scarborough (I had requested video oath but whatever).

Congratulations, updated on the sheet
you don't request Oath to be In person or Virtual, you only request the certificate to be Paper certificate or E-Certificate
they normally issue Paper certificate in-person by default but if you want E-Certificate, you can request to change it

If the request came to you from Syndey Office or Montreal Office, you won't see the update on tracker for Fingerprint request (Most of the time) and Fingerprints received
You can verify they have received it by calling IRCC and asking about Criminality & Security and you will understand if your criminality is completed that your fingerprints has been received
