Renewal for tfw

I’m a TFw here in Alberta and I’m working as FCA in a restaurant my contract will expire the next year 2025 of July. My employer wants me to renew my contract and he wants me to be promoted to a cook position. There are only 5people working in that restaurant and the owner is included all of them are Canadian citizens and just one person is a PR because of the new policy here in Canada for Temporary foreign workers I’m confused if the government will renew my contract or not. Can u please answer if I can renew my contract next year?

Depends if your employer has a valid LMIA. Getting new LMIA is probably going to be tougher than ever now but you never know.
