I recently applied for a pgwp since 19th and no update regarding my application , I have laid a complaint using using the web form and I can’t speak to a representative through the call centre. This is really frustrating as I can’t work because I applied using an expired study permit.
Suggestions on what to do would help please.

So you have only been waiting 8 days, and you are complaining already? Did you restore status at the same time

Unfortunately I did not restore my status due to an immigration consultant advising that I do not restore my status as a student and that I apply for a pgwp with my expired study permit but with a letter of explanation as my study permit validity was issued to my passport validity.
I got my passport renewed tho.

You had to restore your status or your PGWP will likely be refused. If you didn’t restore status within 90 days then you must leave Canada. So you are in Canada without status now? Hopefully you have worked at all.
