Hi
I have received the same date as you but I need your help as I did not submitted yet.
When I received nomination I was in home country as I lost my father and it was family emergency and I had to stay home for couple of months. So I got unpaid leave from my employer . As I was not in Toronto, I was worried if the officer get suspicious why I am not in Ca while submitting. Still I did not submitted the care and not sure weather I should come to Toronto and submit or I can submit from outside, take care of my family issue and then return back to Canada maybe by End if Jan. Can you please help me?
Hey,
First of all, I am sorry for your loss, i hope that you and your family are doing better, its never easy to go with these processes and deal with life at the same time, so my sincere condolences.

So you received the ITA but did not send the application, Right? If that is the case then the only option for you would be to wait until they make a new draw and you receive a new invitation. After you receive an invitation you only have 14 days to submit an application, otherwise your ITA will expire and you will need make a new EOI again.

You can consult with an inmigration lawyer too, they will be able to evaluate your situation and give you a more specific and accurate answer to your case. But the information above remains true if you didn’t sent an application during the 14 days after the invitation you will probably have to apply again.

Generally it goes from Submitted to Assesment and then to DIP and then they take a decision. There may be some others like Intent to refuse, if they need some more documents or there is some inconsistency. Yours is most likely at the assessment stage still, it should soon go to DIP stage.

Hi everyone,
I am still in assessment and waiting for dip. For some my own reasons, I want to call December off and exit Canada that month, and my boss says that's ok. I wonder if it will affect my full-time status while this program requires at least 30 hours/week permanent full-time. And is there anything else it may affect? Thanks, everyone.

Can anyone help me out.
I wanna extend my work permit. Will this OINP help?
Is the timeline 90-120 days for the nomination process fixed or it varies?

Yes, if you get nominated, you will receive a letter along with a closed work permit extension letter granting a 2-year extension.

Your employer must generate a job offer using this letter through the IRCC Employer Portal and pay a fee of approximately $230. After completing this process, they will receive an Employment Number (A******) and a fee receipt. You will use these to apply for the work permit extension.

The condition is that you must remain employed with the same employer, in the same job, salary, and location, for the entire duration until you obtain PR.

Processing times vary between 90 to 120 days, depending on a first-come, first-served basis and the complexity of your application.
