Hello! I'm new to this forum. I have PRRA pending, and I applied for a work permit. I had a rejected refugee claim, but they are now requesting my biometrics, even though I gave footprints to CBSA last year. Do you know if is it normal for them to ask me for biometrics? I have an Hnc pending as well has been 20 months so far.

Hi Patri, si ...yo lo hice solo con la carta AIP, las information es que necessitan en la clinica estan en la carta y en tu passaporte.

Strange, you recently must have given biometrics for your H&C application as well.

When I renewed WP for my spouse last year they asked for biometrics as well despite having the 10 year validity letter.

When did you apply for your PRRA? And what is footprint? Do you mean fingerprint?

I am waiting for my Citizenship and I sent an email to the concerned MP on August 8th and they reverted me back with the information on September 4th.

No one knows exact processing time …. You need wait and watch …. IRCC will contact you when the decision rendered

lol sorry yes I meant fingerprints. I applied for PRRA a month ago.

is this your first HC for parents? What factors did you use in your submission?

Yes this is my first H&C application for my parents.
Factors :-
1. They are aged and have no siblings/parents back home, all immediate relatives are in Canada, United States and Scotland.
2. Their elder son (my brother) is a patient of Schizophrenia and is dependent on his father for which got a recommendation letter from his doctor in a Civic Hospital. (My brother is a Canadian Permanent Resident)
3. My father is a social worker and always contribute more than 1000 Volunteer hours every year in Canada for different organizations.
4. My father is on Work Permit and contributing to Canadian Economy.
5. Some other factors like investment in Canada so far and proposed investment plan.
