Apply for TRV to visit India

Hi All,
I’m on work permit in Canada which I got from inside Canada - a letter.
I need to visit India how to I get my passport stamped or do I need to apply for visitor visa. Please advice I read too much confusing information online.

Go to the iata website and input your nationality and passport information. Then you can get your answer whether you need visitor visa or not. In Canada. I think you can go to any BLS office in Toronto or Vancouver to apply the visa and get passport stamped...

You don’t need any visa to travel to india if you have Indian passport however in return to Canada, you need a valid TRV to enter into Canada and valid status in Canada. You can apply for TRV online through IRCC and cost $100 . Processing time are more than 5-7 weeks these days.
