Hi folks,

I have Submitted my PNP and BOWP 4 months ago (118 days) (aor july 22) inland.
right after submission I had to travel back to my country because I was out of status but still legally to stay without working with visitor record application in progress

now, as of nov-16, im planning to travel to Canada to see some sights, and take care of my personal properties, mean while waiting for the BOWP to be approved so I can start working again But Im not sure if that is possible and would the border officer reject my entry? then that will be painful!

To summary I have an PR application on going, passed med and bio, an BOWP application on going, approved Vistor record (just recently) and valid multi entry vistor visa. My question is can I enter Canada? and if it is a yes then what documents would be required?

Thanks a lot!!

If you have proper approved visa and entry visa , you can enter Canada on visitor visa and stay Canada for 6 months and in meanwhile you can wait for your BOWP to be approved. Once it’s approved, you can start working again.

Thank you so much for the asnwer,
I looked up on internet an it seems possible too

I have one more thing in mind if you can help me with.

In the past, I travelled once back and forth between my country and Canada using Air Canada and landed at Toronto first (using Air Canada) then flew to Ottawa (my reside city). but this time since the ticket is kinda expensive im looking at one which is will be taking transit at America then fly directly to Ottawa but using United Airline instead of Air Canada. Will using any other airlines than Canada Commercial Carrier be a problem for me in this case?

Tons of thanks

It's no issue provided you have a valid US visa.

Thank you!

I forgot to mention that im actually from Vietnam, and US will is the country for the transit before entering Canada. The flight ticket state that the carrier is United Airline. Not Air Canada. So techniclly the Ottawa Airport will be my port entry.
Im not so sure would be a problem if I not using Canada commercial vehicles.

I'm not sure I understand your question. It doesn't matter what airline you take. You can take any airline. Canada doesn't care. However you need a US visa to be allowed to transit through the US.

Thank you! it is cystal clear for me now, I thought that transit in US waiting for the flight to Canada wouldnt be needing a US visa because i have have no intent of leaving the US airport
but now I know! almost booked it!

Back to the topic that I created, the person above probably answered it but do you have anything to add on? I am really afraid of the rejection because after that will be a series of nighmares

Thanks a lot again!
